Haunted Forest, the only horror film this MMFF 2017. It is Graded B by the Cinema Evaluation Board and the entry of Regal Entertainment this MMFF 2017.

This was how seasoned film producer of Regal Entertainment Inc., Rosel Monteverde described the much-awaited and the only supernatural teen horror film in Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2017, “Haunted Forest” topbilled by Jane Oineza, Jameson Blake, Maris Racal, Jon Lucas, Joey Marquez and Raymart Santiago. "If the kids of the 70's 80's 90's and 200's enjoyed different, uniquely-Regal iconic horror creatures like the mananaggal, Aswang, tiyanak, pridyeder, and undin, this 2017 is the perfect time for us to give the new generation of moviegoers-- the millennials and zentennials--with their own uniquely-Regal Horrific character, "Sitsit!" explained Monteverde, the daughter of Regal matriarch, Mother Lily Monteverde.

"Haunted Forest" is written by Jeps Gallon and under the direction of international award-wining director, Ian Lorenos. It will revolve around the estranged relationship of Aris (Raymart Santiago), a policeman and her daughter, Nica (Jane) and a mysterious elemental inside the haunted forest that would change their lives forever.

Will the dreaded "Sitsit" strengthen or is it off destroy Aris and Nica Family? Will Nica's friendship with Mitch (Maris), RJ (Jameson) and Andre (Jon) help out in the solving the mystery beyond the haunted forest.

This Christmas, "Haunted Forest will take the audience to an uncomfortable place, a realm where nothing is safe. Where everyone can be a victim or the suspect.
